1.     Two artists sue MyNews for copyright infringement
A cases where MyNews Holdings Berhad being sued by Homework studio after MyNews marketed two begs which is Icon Recycle Bag with Zip and Icon Recycle Document Bag with Zip with MyNews logo. According to the CEO, the featured on the bags was not produced by them but it was sourced from a third-party supplier. The artwork feature contain similarity with Azhar’s published in their blog on Nov 23, 2007. This cases was charged under Section 36 of the Copyright Act because used others artwork without permission. MyNews being sued for RM1mil which 3.1% will deduct from their net profit.

2.     COVID 19: Malaysia in recovery phase.
Following the successful implementation of Movement Control Order (MCO) on March 18 shows decrease amount of new cases for Covid-19. According to Head director of Health, the percentage of R-naught chart during Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) show at 0.3 which is lesser than 0.6 during MCO, which means possibility of human being infected is lower. It shown the action of CMCO is successes to flatten the curve of this pandemic. However, Ministry of Health will monitor this situation until the end of CMCO period. If the number of new cases can be achieved at single digit on a few week maybe all economic sector will be open up soon.

3.     Ultraman book ban: Phantom publisher forced our hand, claims ministry
Ultraman comic published by Resign Publication entitled Ultraman the Ultra Power has been banned by Home Ministry because the misused of word “Allah” which represent the elder Japanese superhero. Rather it will cause confuse to Muslims and damage their faith, Home Ministry decide to seize all copies from bookstores. The secretary of Ministry’s Publication give a chance to the publisher and printer to clarify the issue to them. Unfortunately, the companies was not found and used false address. This cases was charged under Section 8 of the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984 and the offender faced jail term not exceeding three years or a fine not exceeding RM20, 000 or both.

4.     MOHE Orders Universities To Go Online Until The End Of 2020.
Ministry of High Education (MOHE) has announced all student will having online classes until 31 December 2020. All activities in campus is not allowed, but MOHE agrees to give permission for 5 categories of students in stages in order to implement the learning. This relaxation is only given for students who are required to attend physical laboratories, workshops, studio designs or equipment effective on July 1. Admission of undergraduate and graduate students of IPT is on August 1 while admission for undergraduate, postgraduate research mode started on October 1. MOHE also remind that all academic activities on campus must comply with the SOP.

5.     Thousands people around world protest the death of George Floyd.
One incident took place after a video of George Floyd being captured in Minnesota, when he caught by a group of police. Through the video, George told Derek Chauvin (cop) that he couldn't breathe because he pressed her neck with knees. George also was seen gasping as he tell his stomach and neck hurt. But Derek ignored it. George died after 8 minute being pressed by the cop. The video gets a lot of critics from netizen. In order to lift the rights of black people, thousands of them put on riot and protests. However, the cop has been charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter. 

6.     8 year-old girl died after suffering 65 hornet stings.
Victim known as Nur Zahirah Mohd Sabri died at 1.30am (31 May 2020) at Sultanah Zahirah Hospital Kuala Terengganu. Incident happened when she and her brother were playing at a hill near their home. After she being stung, her brother rushed back to tell his mom that his sister was stung really bad. She firstly were took by her mom to Ketengah Jaya Clinic then refereed to hospital and admitted in ICU. The death was caused to organ failure as a result of much toxin caused by stinging. She will buried at Kerteh 5 cemetery. While, her brother still under doctor's supervision.

7.     A drunken guy alleged after hit food delivery man
A car accessories shop assistant brought to the court after hit a delivery man at Jalan Tun Razak. He alleged driving under alcohol influence at 161 mg and drive over limit. 21 years old man charged under Section 44(1) Road Transport Act 1987 that provides fine minimum RM8,000, maximum RM20,000 and jail term exceeding 3 years or 10 years if found offences. Victim known as Mohamed Zaili Mohamed, 44 years died at scene after being drag for about 2 KM by Grand Livina’s car. Victim was reported on his way back after deliver foods to customers. Zaili left a wife, four step child and one biological child. 

8.     Three siblings died after drown at Sungai Terengganu
A single dad to three siblings expressed sad feelings after his kids died drown at Sungai Terengganu. Victims identified as Umar Iskandar Mohamad, 21 and his brothers, Khairil Firdaus, 17 and Khalif Naim, 15. The incident noticed by four man who fishing in across river. They saw them take a bath in river, after that heard victims asking for help. Unfortunately when they arrived they gone. Bodies of siblings found at 50 meter from each other.  According to the father, three of them are diligent and respect elders. However, he praised to God all of his kids finally found and ease the rescue operation.

9.     Malaysia urged to end violent threats against Rohingya refugees
A number of statements made by individuals from the Myanmar Ethnic Rohingya Human Rights Organisation in Malaysia demanded certain things from the Malaysian government, such as equal rights, job opportunities, health access and education trigged negative comment from Malaysian. According to the statements, cause a lot of hate speech attacking Rohingya’s causing fear of physical violence and discrimination among the refugees. However, Defence Minister urging Malaysians to be "peaceful" and "considerate" while avoiding allegations that could foment anger. Rohingya said, not to be hated by Malaysian but thankful allowing them to stay here. They just wanted protections from us.

10.     Call for reduction in university fees
Former Minister of Youth and Sports, urge Ministry of Higher Education to reduce universities fees according to MCO. Due to this outbreak, majority of student are from B40 and M40 groups definitely affected. Ministry of Higher Education has announced that university studies will be conducted online through December 31, 2020. Due to that, students are not using any facilities or infrastructure from universities, because right now most of them are using personal tools for classes. He stressed that the government should not increase their burden on university fees. Also, he worried there are students who have to quit their education alone because of the burden of paying fees during the MCO.

11.    48 individuals down with food poisoning in Terengganu after eating dessert
48 people who suffered food poisoning believed from eating a local dessert (puding buih) which was bought through online service. Meanwhile, one of them was awarded in the intensive care unit (ICU) but the patient was reported to be stable. According to Chairman of the Local Government, Housing, Health and Environment Committee, they’ve took the sample and found the use of expired eggs are main cause of this incident. Unfortunately, 25-years lady was declare dead after 10 days fight for her life at Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah (HSNZ). Because of that, authorities has taken action to the seller. 

12.                        Fizi apologizes for the controversial dialogue Upin & Ipin
A few days ago, publisher Upin & Ipin seek apologize for the controversial Fizi character in Eid’s episode were the scene has caused argument in social media. Dialogue of Fizi touches about orphans, because Upin & Ipin character are one of them. Through the incident, they has published short 4 minute video where Fizi character seeking apologize to Upin & Ipin for his attitude. Les' Copaque Production took two days for finished it. They hope netizen will happy after the video is posted.  Through this controversial dialogue make publisher realise this cartoon character is close to the hearts of fans.

13.                         Kerala Elephant Murder
Tragic incident happened to pregnant elephant in Kerala, India where she died after ate a pineapple. Believed the pineapple is stuffed by explosive materials inside given by few locals. The explosion caused damaging her tongue and destroying her jaw. After that, the workers there tend to save her by bring her to the river using two other trained elephants. But, they failed and she died with her little one inside her womb.  This incident got a lot of sympathy feedback from nationwide. However, according to Kerala’s chief minister strict action will be received by the offenders.

14.                         Selayang-Kepong Expressway closed until August 31.
MMC-Gamuda has informed the closure of the 150-meter road along the Selayang-Kepong Highway (MRR2) towards Selayang and Sungai Buloh starting on June 5 until the end of August. Both directions will close from 11 pm-5pm following the installation of iron panels and any related work. The 89 days of closure will be done simultaneously. It involves a left lane near Persiaran Dagang, Sri Damansara and two lanes will be provided to road users to Batu Caves. While, on the same road from Sungai Buloh involves closing the left lane starting at the Jaya / Jalan 53 Perniagaan Desa Jaya and two lanes will be provided to road users to Sungai Buloh.

15.                         Over 200 primary schools in South Korea are closed.
Over 200 primary schools in South Korea were closed because of West Asian Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) which has infected 30 and kills two individuals. For the sake of ensuring student safety the action is taken by Minister of Education there. South Korea president, has conducted emergency meeting among highest ministry of health members to design a quarantine strategy. According to WHO, they predicts that the infection will continue to spread. Thus, all public events were cancelled while over 1,360 people were exposed directly or indirectly to the virus, quarantined at different levels. With that infection, causing of people do panic buying of mask and hand sanitizers.
