(Assignment 2)
Drivers use hands, eyes, and feet to control the car but
their hands, eyes, and feet must be controlled by their brains. Safe driving
requires alertness and the ability to make quick decisions in rapidly changing
situations. Drinking alcohol can have effect on driving skills. The
implications drunk while driving includes decrease concentration, allow drivers
to lose focussed and drowsiness occurred. It also make the driver hinder the
ability to make rational decisions while driving.
According to The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) statistics show
21 cases of drunk driving were recorded just in the first five months this year
involving eight deaths, a significant increase compared to 23 cases of drunk
driving accidents recorded throughout last year. Reported cases involves drunk
driver causing the death of people is not ever breaking news in Malaysia.
Despite Malaysia have relaxation of drinking alcohol that not means people can
take it easily, because this people who lack of humanity cause suffered to
others. A few month ago, there are few cases showing this irresponsible action has
attracted the attention of Malaysian in social media platform. Not only that,

If government just focus on the amount of fees will be faced
by them, I think it will not give positive impacts to others. Because this
stubborn people have such assumptions that with the lower fees rate, they are
not afraid to drive drunk because they can still pay the fine. According to
increase number of death cause of drunk driver, Ministry of Federal Territories
announced will freeze all activities involving the production and sale of
alcohol and also suspend the car license. But, government also must tighten the
control and monitor this activities, the concern of likely to exist maybe a
black market will give difficulty to authority. Through this action hopefully we can reduce
the number of death cases caused of drunk driver.
Conclusion, every problems we faced must have an exit way, it
not ended with death. It can be solved in a healthy way and most importantly not
involve the lives of innocent people. Due to this immoral incident, some of the
victims' families lost their place to rely or depend on. So it is the time
where Malaysian should be less selfish and to protect safety of other road
users. Prevent is better than cure, because we doesn’t know if we still got a
chance of second lives. Prove that we are excellent Malaysian who have higher
respect to anybody and practice healthy life style to produce better quality of
nation.
